About Us
K4 Soils was established as a Partnership in 1993 for the provision of laboratory and field testing services within the geotechnical engineering and related industries. We are UKAS accredited laboratory (UKAS accreditation No. 2519). A list of the tests we typically carry out, and the current rates are available here.
Our client base includes some of the largest engineering consulting organisations, property developers, and construction companies in the UK as well as private individuals. We have worked on many high profile projects such as the Olympic Park Stratford, Emirates Stadium, Wembley Stadium, Ministry of Defence Sites and more recently HS2.
The Partners have extensive knowledge of geotechnical soil testing and we have an extensive range of equipment to assist us in meeting deadlines for even some of the more advanced testing such as oedometers, effective stress, shearbox and permeability testing.
Management of all data is handled electronically using Keynetix © Keylab 2 software, which allows us to import all of our clients testing requirements using AGS 4.0 data transfer. A copy of our electronic schedule is available on request. We can also provide AGS data is either 3.1 or 4.0 format.
